- As a member of the press, Chris has attended many events, including Adobe MAX, a tour of HP's global headquarters for its Z workstations, photographing New York City with pre-release Tamron lenses, and a tour of the DreamWorks Animation campus, where he was invited to a special advanced screening of "Kung Fu Panda" with its state-of-the-art animation.
- He had the privilege of witnessing Steve Jobs introducing the latest Apple tech at a Macworld Expo at the Javits Center in New York City.
- He has edited thousands of articles on graphics and photography software, computers, hardware, camera gear, iPhones, and other technology.
Experience
Chris worked at Kelby Media Group (KelbyOne) for 24 years as the managing editor of various print and digital publications, including Mac Today, Mac Design, Layers: The How-To Magazine for Everything Adobe, Lightroom Magazine, and Photoshop User. Chris was also responsible for staying current on all the latest computer, software, and camera developments and assigning, writing, and editing product reviews for the magazines. He has had the opportunity to work with some of the world's top photographers and graphic designers. He grew up playing Dungeons & Dragons (back in a time when the first rule was you do not talk about Dungeons & Dragons), which taught him how to think creatively and work as part of a team. The game (that he still plays today) indirectly sparked his interest in entering the publishing industry.
Education
Chris has a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Florida.
