Apple Gave Employees Rainbow Apple Watch Bands For Pride 2016
Apple gave some of its employees a limited edition rainbow Apple Watch band for Pride 2016, according to a bunch of tweets from recent days. Pride festivals recently took place in cities around the world, and California was no exception. Apple employees who took to the streets with a place in the official Pride parade were bestowed with the unique — and no doubt now-valuable — very limited edition bands.
You can see the Apple Watch rainbow band above in an image posted by Stephen Andrew on Twitter. In his tweet, he says, "Awesome gift we gave to all our employees who are marching today. Rainbow Apple Watch bands!!" Other employees posted images of their own Apple Watch bands.

Some more details about the Apple Watch band were made public via this image posted on Reddit.
In case you're on mobile and having trouble reading it, the card reads:
Apple's first Diversity Network Association, Pride, turns 30 this year and we're thrilled to celebrate this tremendous milestone with you! As recognition for everyone who registered to participate in a Pride event this year we created something special. This limited-edition band is a symbol of our commitment to equality and we hope you'll wear it with pride.
There's no word on whether Apple will make the bands available to the public.
