Acer's ProDesigner BM320 Monitor Is A 4K Monster For Graphics Pros

Acer recently beefed up its Predator line with a couple of new gaming monitors, but if you need something even more serious than one of those, you might want to take a look at the company's new ProDesigner BM320 monitor. Supporting 4K resolution and coming in at a not insignificant 32-inches, this is certainly a monitor for those who need to get a little more out their hardware.Acer wants the BM320's focus on "precise color" to be the main draw here. The monitor comes packing the Acer ColorPlus suite, which includes 100% Adobe RGB and 100% sRGB coverage. The monitor also offers 10-bit color depth, with a total of 1.07 billion colors supported. According to Acer, the monitor's E<1 color accuracy provides "hues so precise, it's the smallest difference the eye can see."

So, this is pretty intense piece of hardware for folks who need that kind of accuracy in their day-to-day gigs, like graphic designers or video editors. The monitor itself is fairly sleek looking, using Acer's ZeroFrame design to trim back on the bezel. The IPS panel is capable of achieving wide viewing angles of up to 178-degrees without a drop in color accuracy.

One major feature of the BM320 is its ability to rotate 90-degrees. This means that you can use the monitor in either a horizontal or vertical orientation, giving you more options when it comes to your perspective. Beyond that, you can swivel or tilt the monitor on its ErgoStand, or turn on a number of features like Acer Flicker-less, BlueLightShield, or ComfyView to help reduce problems like blue light or screen glare.

All in all it doesn't sound like too bad a monitor if you need that kind of equipment, but it comes with a reasonably hefty price tag. A fair bit more expensive than the Predator monitors the company just introduced, the BM320 comes in at $1,299. It's available for order now in the US, so check out the source link below if you'd like to get one for yourself
