Goodbye Sedona, hello 2022 Carnival. Kia's minivan aspirations get an injection of SUV styling, as the new three-row people-carrier adopts the automaker's sharper new styling language, and its new logo. Three rows, with a choice of 7- or 8-seating configurations, it's due to arrive in the US in Q2 2021.

Only a single engine option keeps things straightforward, a 3.5-liter V6. That's good for 290 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, along with 3,500 pounds of towing. An 8-speed automatic is standard, as is front-wheel drive.

Inside, there's wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, along with wireless phone charging. Upscale trims get rear displays with wireless phone mirroring, a rear cabin camera and intercom, and even luxury second-row seats with heating, cooling, leg extensions, and power adjustment.
