2022 Honda Civic Sedan Gallery

Honda's 2022 Civic Sedan is a big deal for the automaker. Now in its 11th generation, it's the first of what will be a broad range of cars, with a hatchback, an Si, and a Civic Type R still to come. With the Civic acting as Honda's gateway to young drivers, it's important it gets the details right.

On the outside, the styling has been pared back and left cleaner. There's LED lighting front and rear, while the windshield has been pushed back to elongate the hood and leave the new Civic looking more premium. There'll be four trims: LX and Sport get a 2.0-liter inline-4, while the EX and Touring have a 1.5-liter turbo-4. All use a CVT, with the Sport and Touring trims having a new Sport drive mode.

Inside, there's either partially-digital or fully-digital instrumentation and, on the Touring trim, Honda's biggest infotainment touchscreen so-far. All get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Touring adds an upgrade Bose audio system and wireless charging for your phone. Most striking, though, is probably the dashboard-spanning mesh, which helps hide the air vents.
