2022 Bentley Continental GT Speed Gallery
Bentley may be shifting to all-electric, but the iconic British luxury automaker isn't letting its gas engines go out without a bang. The 2022 Continental GT Speed takes the familiar 6.0-liter W12 engine and squeezes out a monstrous 650 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. That's good enough for 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 208 mph, Bentley says.
The exterior gets special grilles and body kit, plus 22-inch Speed-exclusive wheels to help mark the coupe apart. Inside, there's a new duotone option, pairing leather and Alcantara; there's also a choice of woods and hides. The Continental GT Speed is still a four-seater, and doesn't sacrifice on trunk space either.
Under the shapely sheet metal, the chassis gets tweaks with performance in mind. There's new electronic all-wheel steering, while Bentley Dynamic Ride is standard as is a new electronic limited slip differential (eLSD), a first for the automaker. Three-chamber active air suspension and adaptive damping are standard too, tuned for more playfulness in Sport mode. Bentley has also upgraded the dual-clutch, eight-speed transmission for twice as fast shifts in Sport mode, and is also offering optional carbon ceramic brakes.
