2021 Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 Gallery
The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 may not be the fastest, or the most powerful car to bear the AMG badge, but that doesn't mean it's not special. It's actually the first AMG compact SUV to be offered with a third row, meaning you can optionally seat up to seven people inside. They get to share 302 horsepower, from a 2.0-liter inline-4 turbocharged engine.
0-60 mph arrives in 5.1 seconds, and the SUV will keep going all the way to 155 mph before the electronic limited kicks in. The 4-pot is paired with an 8-speed DCT gearbox and all-wheel drive, the latter able to switch between a fully front-wheel drive mode and up to a 50:50 front to rear split. Adaptive suspension is optional, while multiple drive modes are standard.
Inside, there are sportier seats and Mercedes' well-received MBUX infotainment system. That supports the "Hey Mercedes" voice assistant and gets new AMG graphics. Expect it to appear at US dealerships late in 2020.
