2021 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring Gallery
Lincoln is adding a second hybrid SUV to its range, slotting the new 2021 Corsair Grand Touring in under the larger Aviator Grand Touring. Making its debut at the LA Auto Show 2019, the new two-row SUV will offer electric all-wheel drive, with Lincoln expecting it to achieve 25 miles of EPA all-electric range.
At the front there's a 2.5-liter four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle gas engine, combined with an electric motor. There's also a new eCVT, which has a further two electric motors. At the rear, a further electric motor drives the back axle. In addition to the regular Corsair's drive modes there's a Pure EV mode for electric-only, and Preserve EV mode for topping the battery up with electric power.
Inside, there's a flexible cabin with sliding, folding rear seats. Lincoln's Phone As A Key technology is standard, as are safety features like blind-spot monitoring. Adaptive cruise control and a head-up display will be options when the Corsair Grand Touring goes on sale in Summer 2020.
