2021 Hyundai Sonata Gallery

Hyundai's Sonata has a reputation for being eminently sensible and maybe a little forgettable, but few will struggle to recall this more outlandish generation of sedan. With love-it-or-hate-it styling, the deeply-dipped grille and sharply angled trunk definitely look like little else on the road. In Sonata N Line form, that's paired with some eye-catching 19-inch alloys, too.

Regular 2021 Sonata models get a 1.6-liter turbo-4, good for 180 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The N Line drops in the 2.5-liter turbo-4 that we've seen Genesis use. It kicks things up to 290 hp and 311 lb-ft, and swaps the standard 8-speed automatic for an N 8-speed DCT.

Interior space is plentiful, and most of the touch-points feel the part. High-end trims get a big 12.3-inch driver display and a 10.25-inch infotainment system; there's Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Pricing kicks off at $23,950 (plus destination) for the entry SE, while the N Line starts at $33,300.
