2021 Ford Bronco Sport Gallery
Ford is bringing back the Bronco nameplate, and it's not taking any chances when it comes to success. While there'll be a full Bronco for those who want maximum off-road talent, the Bronco Sport promises a distilled version that's more attainable. Priced from $26,820 (plus $1,495 destination and $645 acquisition fee), it takes some of the key features of the Escape and gives them a rugged makeover.
The platform and the engine options are the same, with the choice of a 1.5-liter EcoBoost or 2.0-liter EcoBoost under the hood. An 8-speed automatic is standard either way, as is all-wheel drive. Badlands trim gets a fancier 4x4 system, with a twin-clutch rear differential, with torque vectoring and a differential lock. Twist through the G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) terrain management system and you'll find modes for things like Sand and Sport.
The Bronco Sport's cabin prioritizes ease of use and practicality. Some trims have rubberized floors and cargo areas, and all get plenty of cubbies, tie-down hooks, and LED lights. SYNC 3 is standard, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a wireless charging pad for your phone.
