BMW's 2021 X5 takes the luxury SUV and gives it even more technology and style. Borrowing features from the automaker's high-end sedans, it can use navigation data to better control its transmission shifts, use external cameras to record video in the event of an accident, and even drive itself in highway traffic jams.

In the case of the 2021 X5 xDrive45e, there's a new hybrid drivetrain. That combines a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 with electric motors and an 8-speed transmission, for all-wheel drive and 30 miles of electric-only range. It's also faster and has more torque than its predecessor hybrid, while towing capacity has increased to 7,200 pounds.
