2020 Lincoln Aviator Gallery
Lincoln has had great success with luxury SUVs in recent years, and it's hoping to repeat that with the 2020 Aviator. The new mid-size luxury SUV packages crisp styling with the automaker's first plug-in hybrid, with the 2020 Aviator Grand Touring combining a V6 with a plug-in battery-electric system. That way, you get a predicted 450 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque.
The standard engine, meanwhile, will be a 3.0-liter V6 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive will be optional. Lincoln will have plenty of tech, too. Active safety features like blind-spot monitoring and emergency auto-brake will be standard, while wireless phone charging, air suspension, and a proactive road damping system that uses a camera to adjust to the road surface ahead will all be optional.
Pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed, though Lincoln is likely to spill more details when the 2020 Aviator makes its public debut at the LA Auto Show 2018.
