Genesis' largest car is also its most luxurious – and its most in need of a makeover. Happily the 2020 G90 addresses that, and in spades. Gone is the fairly forgettable exterior, replaced with a bold and oversized new grille, eye-catching lights front and rear, and some stunning 19-inch wheels unlike just about anything else on the market today.

The new style is wrapped around a car that's generally unchanged from before. That's no bad thing: Genesis' 3.3-liter turbo V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engines are solid, its ride smooth, and its performance ample. No back-road carver, this, just a fantastic car to drive long-distances in – or, indeed, to be driven in.

The cabin has new materials and checks off all the basics, with a high level of standard equipment compared to what the Germans make you pay for. Really, though, the old G90 was no slouch in the spec department, it just lacked attention-grabbing styling. That, the 2020 G90 has no issues with.
