2019 Jaguar F-PACE Gallery
Jaguar's F-PACE may not be a seductive two-door coupe or a wind-in-the-hair convertible, but it's still the automaker's most popular model. For the 2019 model year, then, Jaguar has focused on bringing it up to speed with its newer models. The range gets topped with a 550 horsepower F-PACE SVR, for those who really need 176 horsepower and 0-60 mph arriving in 4.1 seconds.
Everybody else will get a choice of four- or six-cylinder gas or diesel engines, and pricing starting at $44,600. On the outside there are some mild styling tweaks, while inside the 10-inch touchscreen of the InControl Touch Pro infotainment system is now standard across all trims. Lane-keep assistance and emergency braking are standard, too, with adaptive cruise control with steering assistance and blind-spot monitoring both options.
Arguably most important for an SUV claiming off-road credentials, the 2019 F-PACE gets the Adaptive Surface Response (AdSR) system from Jaguar's other recent all-wheel drive cars. That can automatically switch between three modes, depending on whether you're in snow or on ice, on wet tarmac or gravel, or encountering deep snow or gravel. Just try not to scuff the 22-inch optional wheels.
