2019 Chevrolet Corvette Z51 Gallery
Chevrolet's seventh generation Corvette sticks close to the script: affordable power, in a design that screams "American style." In Z51 Performance Package form you get some neat extras, too, like uprated suspension, slotted brake rotors, and an electronic limited slip differential. There's also a rear differential cooler, multi-mode exhaust, a rear spoiler, and custom mapping for the transmission.
A 7-speed manual is standard, with active rev matching. Chevrolet will optionally switch that out for an 8-speed automatic with paddle shifters. Either way, you get a 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8, good for 460 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque in Z51 form.
Inside, the cabin is showing its age – and is probably the most obvious example of where Chevy's drive for value exposes itself. Leather power seats are standard, at least, as is dual-zone climate control, and the convertible has a power hood with remote operation.
