2017 Nissan Rogue Sport Gallery
The 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport is a new compact SUV that slides in under the existing three-row Rogue in the Nissan line-up. Aimed at couples, instead of families, the Rogue Sport is still respectable when it comes to passenger and cargo room, and outperforms several of its similarly-priced subcompact rivals in each of these areas.
The Rogue Sport – sold as the Qashqai in other markets – is motivated by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine that offers up 141 horsepower and 147 lb-ft of torque. A continuously-variable automatic transmission is standard with the Nissan SUV, while all-wheel drive is optional above the base trim.
Nissan has also elected to make a substantial level of active safety equipment available with the Rogue Sport, which enjoys the same features in this department as can be found in the larger Rogue. This includes forward collision warning with automatic braking, lane departure warning and mitigation, and blind spot monitoring.
