Images, features and technical details of the upcoming T-Mobile Samsung Memoir T929 have leaked. The touchscreen device, which is expected to launch on T-Mobile come February 25th priced at $299, is the US version of the European Samsung Pixon, and has an 8-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, 240 x 400 display and, if the specs are to be believed, support for high-speed UMTS HSDPA.

Comparing the leaked details of the US handset, below, to what we know of the European model, they certainly seem legitimate. One point of concern is the data speeds the T929 supports: the technical specifications say UMTS, while the features list only mentions EDGE. GPS is also omitted, though the Memoir is expected to have it.
While T-Mobile USA's 3G network is still in its roll-out stage, and not as pervasive as rival carrier's high-speed coverage, the company has committed to releasing multiple HSDPA-capable devices in 2009 and there's no reason to believe that they'd artificially limit the Samsung Memoir T929. For confirmation, though, we may have to wait until later this month.
