Sony To Kill NEX-3 Camera Line Already?
The Sony NEX-3A, 3K, and 3D digital cameras haven't been on the market for a long period yet and the things have been getting updates with new colors and features along the way. The last time we spoke about the cameras was when they received a firmware update to support the A-mount lenses back in October 2010.
Apparently, the cameras didn't sell well as the webpage for the digital cameras on the Japanese Sony website has the purchase buttons removed. The image associated with the camera also has been updated with "end of production."
That's not good news if you are one of the folks that recently purchased the digital cameras. There has been no official press release from Sony on the end of production so this could be a mistake of some sort. As of now, the Sony Store in the US still lists all three models as available.
