Sony a3500 DSLR Camera Unveiled By Sony Australia

Sony has been making its line of DSLR cameras in the Alpha range for a number of years. A new camera that will fit into that line has been unveiled by Sony Australia. The new camera is called the a3500 and along with images of the camera, Sony has offered full specifications as well.

The camera boasts a 20.1MP Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor. ISO range is up to 16000 and the camera has a Tru-Finder electronic viewfinder. Sony also notes that the camera is able to record full HD video and has automatic object framing.

The a3500 has interchangeable lenses and a built-in flash. The lenses the camera body supports are Sony E-mount lenses. A number of in camera picture effects are supported along with a range of manual and automatic control settings.

Images are stored to SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards along with Sony Memory Stick formats. Sony also equips the camera with a 25 point focusing system. The rear LCD measures 3-inches and has a resolution of 230,400 dots. Pricing for the camera is tipped at AU$499 and the price reportedly includes a Sony E 18-50mm f/4-5.6 lens.
