Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 Display Pictures Spied
Samsung is having a big event tomorrow at CTIA and many are presuming that the company will unveil its new Galaxy Tab 8.9. These pictures confirm this as presentation panels were snapped earlier today by PocketNow. The new tablet looks to be running Honeycomb with Samsung's own UX on top of it.
The Galaxy Tab 8.9 will have the Live Panel homescreen, a "personalized homescreen" with custom widgets like: email, weather, news, agenda, gallery, buddies now, date, bookmark, and stock. The new tablet will have a 1280 x 800 WXGA touchscreen with a 1 GHz dual core processor and weighs in at 470 grams or roughly 1 pound.
Samsung's newest tablet is designed to have a PC-like performance and looks to be joining the ranks to fight with Apple's iPad and Motorola's XOOM. Stay tuned for more details when Samsung has their official event tomorrow.
