Galaxy Note 7 Pre-Release First Impressions Video Details Flatness
A full 11-minute-long hands-on video has surfaced showing the Galaxy Note 7 from Samsung. This device – in this iteration – has a flat display, unlike the version the teasers for the event have shown thus far. There's also an official Galaxy Note 7 video being released today with more details (UPDATE: The video – the official video – is out now too – have a peek!). This hands-on video with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 shows the many features of the Galaxy Note 7, including the continued keeping of the IR-Scanner for device control.
This Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is a prototype, it's important to mention. There's still a possibility that the final release date-level devices will only come with curved-edge displays. While there is no precedent for curved-edge prototype videos like this, it does lend credence to the possibility that more than one version of the Galaxy Note 7 could exist.
This version is being tested with Kora's SK Telecom software. That could mean that this version of the device is only meant for Asia release, and that a USA-aimed version could be completely different. That'd be completely different from any previous release from Samsung, however, so we're still crossing our fingers for more than one version for each arena.

The above specifications are not official. They do not come from Samsung. They're congregated on the efforts of tipsters and inside sources over the past several months – they are, to the best of our non-official sources abilities – the closest we're going to get to the real deal Samsung-said specs until reveal day.
That's August 2nd, 2016, for real.
Above you'll see the hands-on video from "FeltIT" via Weibo.
Next you'll see Samsung's official video for the Galaxy Note Question Mark. That's the Galaxy Note 7, but they've put a question mark in there instead. Not a six!
