Did Your iPhone 4 Alarm Work Correctly This Morning?
I use my iPhone 4 for my alarm clock and have for years now. I hate worrying each time I go to bed that my crappy rural electric company will have an outage and I won't get up and get to work on time. Therefore, I have always used my iPhone as an alarm clock. Even back when people were having issues with the iPhone 4 iOS 4.x alarms in January my iPhone 4 worked just fine.
With the time change over the weekend today was the first time one of my recurring alarms has activated since we sprung forward an hour. I checked my alarms last night to be sure that I had them set correctly. The time from AT&T was correct on my device so I went to sleep all ready for the next day.
I am an early riser so I can get the new cooking for my fellow geeks as you roll out of bed and I was none too happy when my alarm went off at 2:45 am rather than 3:45 am this morning. I sat there staring at my iPhone for a bit wondering WTF before setting a timer and taking back the hour of sleep my iPhone tried to steal. The alarm went off perfectly, but just an hour early despite the fact that it was set to go off at 3:45 in the alarm settings. I guess I need to finally update my device and see if the issue happens tomorrow; I am still running iOS 4.1. Anyone one newer version of iOS have an alarm issue this morning?
