Capcom's Lost Planet 2 Gets Co-Op Demo On Xbox LIVE

Did you enjoy Capcom's foray into the beautiful, huge, and brilliant world of Lost Planet the first time around? Then get ready to take a 4-player ride through the second installment, in the meat and bones of a demo that will be launching on the Xbox LIVE network next week.

Starting on August 19, those with an Xbox LIVE Gold account can get first grab at this. It's a 4-player, online co-op demo, that showcases the same scenarios that were shown at previous press events like E3 and Comic Con. If you were expecting something new, and you were lucky enough to play the game at one of the trade shows, then you're out of luck.

Of course, if you were unable to make it, then this should be right up your alley. The second installment of Lost Planet is set up for a release date of some time next year, but nothing official has been announced yet. As for those still few Silver members running around on LIVE, the demo will be available to them for download a week after the initial release, August 26.
