AT&T Samsung Jack Announced: 3G, WM6.1 & 3.2MP Camera
AT&T have launched the Samsung Jack, the follow-up to the well-regarded Samsung BlackJack and BlackJack II. Running Windows Mobile 6.1 with 256MB of RAM, the Jack has a 3.2-megapixel camera, WiFi b/g and aGPS, as well as the usual Microsoft enterprise functionality and Exchange synchronization.
The Jack also gets AT&T Xpress Mail for access to personal messaging accounts, together with AT&T Navigator and AT&T Navigator Global Edition. Media-needs are catered for with the carrier's Mobile Music download service, together with access to XM Radio Mobile, and there's CV video which can be viewed via the Jack's 3G connection.

Bluetooth is present, complete with stereo audio support, and there's a microSD card slot content with up to 16GB cards. AT&T also promise that the Samsung Jack will be compatible with Windows Mobile 6.5 upgrades, though there's no word on whether that will be offered through the carrier or left to the user to arrange.
The Samsung Jack will go on sale on May 19th, priced at $99 after a $100 mail-in rebate. You'll need to sign up to a two-year agreement, voice play upward of $39.99 per month, plus a Personal PDA data plan.

AT&T* and Samsung Telecommunications America (Samsung Mobile) announced today the May 19 availability of the Samsung Jack™, the next generation Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone available exclusively to AT&T customers in the U.S and powered by the nation's fastest 3G network.
The Jack is a sleek and compact handset with an optimized keyboard for easy and accurate messaging, including SMS, instant messaging and access to multiple e-mail accounts. Microsoft Direct Push is available for enterprise and small business users, while AT&T Xpress Mail offers access to most major personal e-mail accounts. The Jack also features over-the-air synchronization of contacts, calendars and task lists with Microsoft Exchange Server or Xpress Mail.
