Apple To Launch iOS 4.3 On February 14?
The next edition of iOS may be heading out at the very start of the 2011 Mobile World Congress. A Class C flurry of rumors has tipped February 14 as the launch date for iOS 4.3. The update will begin going out at 10 AM PST.
iOS 4.3 was originally tipped to launch in mid-December. Recently, the release of the third beta of 4.3 and the approval of apps with direct support for that version of the OS gave bloggers cause to speculate on an imminent release.
4.3 is expected to include bug fixes- especially surrounding early issues with AirPlay. App subscriptions will also come to the OS. We may also see multitouch gesture support and a Find My Friends feature. The expanded gesture support is believed to be the first step towards removing the home button from iPhones altogether.
