Adesso Agrees That People Need More Wireless Tech

Adesso announced today the availability of their new slim, wireless keyboard, called the WKB-4000UB, which is pretty much the definition of having a name only your mother could love. And while it may not have the easiest name in the world to tell your friends, it does offer some pretty good functionality and, well, slimness. In the market for a new keyboard? Take a gander after the break, and see what Adesso has in store for you.

First thing you'll notice (it's definitely the first thing we noticed) is that this new wireless keyboard looks a lot like a standard laptop keyboard, without the screen. It does seem to be a bit more squared off than a normal peripheral keyboard, and it even has a trackpad, so there isn't any use for a mouse. 2.4GHz technology powers the wireless capabilities of the WKB-4000UB, and if you really don't need that mouse, Adesso also put two mouse-keys under the trackpad. You know, like a laptop. There's also 12 function keys on the wireless board.

Low-profile scissor-switch keys will keep you typing for an estimated 6 million uses. The WKB-4000UB also comes with other features like a power-saving sleep mode and a low batter notification light. You can pick up the keyboard from Amazon right now if you want, and it will only cost you $109.99. Of course, for anywhere between $200-600 more, you can get some great additions in functionality: like an actual laptop.
