This October 24th - tomorrow, that is - Pokemon Art Academy will be released for Nintendo 3DS. This is the game announced earlier this year, the one that'll teach you to draw Pokemon characters from scratch! Inside this "game" you'll find many of your favorite Pokemon images to work with including Pikachu, Torchic, Treecko, and Mudkip. You'll recognize those last three as your three standard Partner Pokemon from the upcoming releases Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire - there'll be more from that release, too!

The new Camp Pokemon app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch isn’t the full Pokemon experience. It’ll do an amazing job of bringing you back to the glory days of Pokemon Snap, if that’s your brand of Poke-entertainment, but it’s not quite the full Poke-experience. It does show, on the other hand, how far The Pokemon Company International has gotten from their hard-bar ban on releasing any apps outside the Nintendo ecosphere. There are a few mixed messages out there today about how compatible Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Pokemon Omega Ruby will be with Pokemon X and Y. As it turns out, there WILL be SOME compatibility between the lot, but not a massive amount. Neither Primal evolutions nor Mega evolutions will be available in X or Y. You might be able to fight them, but you won’t be able to use them in X or Y - or so we were told in a tip. But it’s not that simple.

This week we’ve had a look at a few different ways users will be able to get their hands on the Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire Demo - but before today, no USA-based details were available. Today we get word from the Pokemon company that the USA version of the Demo will be released on the 21st of October, just a few days after Japan and the UK get in on the fun.
